Getting to the Staging Town of Blois

Plan to arrive in Blois by 5pm on the first day of the tour. We will do a short tour of the town and then head to dinner.

The closest airport with good airline connections and train connections is Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) in Paris. It is located north of Paris with good train connections to downtown Paris, France and Blois. The train station is located inside the airport.
Depending on your flight connections and train connections you may decide to stay an extra day or two in Paris. This makes a nice addition to the tour. **Please take into consideration that flights may be delayed when you make your train reservations.

From Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport to downtown Paris:
To get to Paris from CDG, you have a choice of the local commuter train, public bus or private shuttle vans
1) RER trains
2) Roissy-Buses
3) Airport shuttles

Train from downtown Paris to Blois:
Leave from Paris Gare d'Auserlitz train station and arrive at the Blois Train Station: about 2 hours train trip.
Or
Train directly from CDG to Blois
Travel time by train is about 2 hours. The hotel is located a short walk up the hill and across the bridge from the Blois train station: about 2 block from the Blois Train Station. **Please take into consideration that flights may be delayed when you make your train reservations.
